Purpose:

Screening machine ЦС-2 is designed to control various products of grain processing. The machine consists of a frame with rotating rotor and slow-rotating sieve drum around the frame. There are whips on the rotor. The mounting design allows you to change the angle of attack of the whips along their length to adjust the time the product spends in the working area.

Sieve drum consists of sections. Sieve frames are fastened to the sections. There are cones under the sieve drum for outlet (discharging) of waste and product. To regenerate the sieve drum from jammed particles, rubber pads are fastened to two opposite whips so that they slide along the inner surface of the sieve drum. The whip rotor is driven by an electric motor through a V-belt drive, and the sieve drum is driven by a gear motor through a V-belt drive. The rotor and drum rotate in opposite directions.

Sieving of product. The product enters the sieve drum through the inlet opening. When the drum rotates, the product is up to a certain height and then, under the force of gravity, falls onto the fast-rotating whips of the rotor. The whips throw the product onto a sieve, through which it is sifted. Large particles of the product go down from the sieve drum.

Taking into account the presence of three sections in the sieve drum, when different sieves are installing, it is possible to calibrate the product into 3 fractions by size: 2 passes and 1 discharge. The useful size of the sieve frames is 790 x 990 mm.
