Made in Ukraine

On 19 May 2026, in the framework of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy for the development of Ukrainian producers, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine organised an meeting with agricultural producers in the Odesa region to discuss the prospects for the development of agricultural processing.

The head of the Odesa Regional (Military) Administration Oleh Kiper together with representatives of the agricultural sector, relevant institutions and the business community, discussed the prospects for the development of agricultural processing in the region, as well as government support programmes and legislative initiatives for the agricultural sector. The meeting was moderated by Dmytro Kysilevskyi, a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and coordinator of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Mykhailo Babych, CEO of AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD - a supplier of wide assortiment of processing equipment for agricultural products—also spoke at the meeting. He provided information on new developments, plans, extensive opportunities and large-scale capacity for the supply of such equipment within short timeframes, as well as comprehensive processing lines — turnkey grain mills, etc.

Today, the Odesa region is one of the country’s leading agricultural regions. And the processing of cereals and oilseeds already is no an ‘add-on’ to the agricultural sector — it is becoming a key element of the economy. Therefore, the appropriate goal of this meeting is to inform agricultural enterprises and food producers about the capabilities of the domestic engineering industry to provide for the transition from a raw materials-based business model to a processing industry and the creation of production lines with maximum added value.
