Today we are marking Ukraine's Independence Day! So what does independence actually mean? Independence is a people’s deep-seated desire to be free to make their own choices, to take responsibility for their own future, and to preserve their honor in the face of history. For any society, independence becomes a key value when people realise that their country’s fate depends not on the decisions of outside forces, but on their own decisions, hard work and willingness to defend their own rights.

This value is particularly important for Ukraine, as many generations of Ukrainians have shed blood for it, and today the journey towards sovereignty continues amidst a full-scale military invasion of our country.

May each of your lives be filled with hope for a better future and positive energy that helps to create a reliable future! Indeed, only optimists can build a free and independent nation. We wish each of us strength, motivation, power, and faith that good always triumphs over evil. May love and hope, optimism and an uncompromising desire for freedom and justice live in your hearts!
