Export of pea processing equipment

The global pea market is showing growth of production and consumption thanks to increased demand for vegetable protein, a high proportion of which is contained in peas. The main consumers are countries in South and East Asia (China, India, Ethiopia and Bangladesh). The pea protein market in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 13 % between 2025 and 2030.

Peas are changing from a niche crop to a popular major crop and have significant potential for expansion in the coming years. All this explains the increased interest in pea processing equipment and production lines in common among European companies.
