Non-traditional using of Flaking mill ПС-400

In the beginning of December SIC «AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD» supplied Flaking mill ПС-400 for fermentation plant in Zakarpattya region of Ukraine. It's interesting to note that in this case Flaking mill ПС-400 prepared to use one for tobacco producing! This machine has been adjusted by our professional adjuster to get the rolled tobacco stalk. This raw made from the broken stalks, which stay after leaf tobacco dividing by flattening process.

The flaking mill has just been tested and started-up successfully in working mood. Previously, tobacco stems, due to the lower content of aromatic substances than in the leaves, were sent for combustion in a boiler room. Stems processing technology allow to get up to 1,5 t of tobacco in a day additionally.

The flaking mill ПС-400 is universal flattening machine with horizontal roller location for flattening of hulled grain (kernel) and cereals to produce any kinds of flakes. This equipment also can be used for flattening of any plant raw, for example, for tobacco in this case as you can see on video.

The features of the operating mode of this machine include possibility of adjusting of gap between rollers (0,1 mm) and water cooling of rollers. It help to make optimal conditions for flattening process.
