Start-up of the 60th anniversary buckwheat mill

As we previously reported, SIC “AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD” executed works of buckwheat mill building for one of leading agricultural Lithuanian company (groats manufacturer):

• Engineering works;
• Full supply of a set of equipment and automatic control system;
• Installation supervision and commissioning.

As a result of the 10-month work, at the end of August 2019, we launched the buckwheat mill with full capacity.

It’s important that Customer’s gave 200 t of defective grain to our specialists. This grain does not meet the requirements of regulatory acts absolutely, because more than 10% of the buckwheat volume has been spoilt and rotten (see attached photos).

Despite this, the buckwheat mill has started in two days. On the third day, the buckwheat mill started to use full automat control from a computerized operator’s place. The mill exceeded design capacity by 10%!

It`s important to note that during the start-up and commissioning, there were no defective products. 100% of the products are approved for sale. Flushing of communications of the buckwheat mill before its start`s been carried out with a feed wheat in the volume of 20 tons.

On the sixth day of the stable work, our specialists completely passed the management of the buckwheat mill to the customer’s specialists.
