Equipment for hydrothermal treatment

Having cleaned from impurities grain is treated hydrothermally – moistured and heated with steam, and then it is conditioned and dried. As a result the strength of the kernel increases due to starch gelatinization and protein denaturation, whereas shells become more fragile and easily separated. For dehulling, effective grain hydrothermal treatment is possible only at the moisture content of 13-15,5%.

Steamers, dryers and humidifiers manufactured by Research and Production Company AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD, improve grain process features and enhance useful and organoleptic qualities of the finished product. The cereal colour becomes more even, it is cooked faster and gets fluffier.
