Drum Mixer

Purpose:

Constant motion Drum mixer is designed for mixing various bulk materials, including cereal flakes.

Design:

There is installed mixer drum on the bearing supports of the welded frame. This drum driven by a geared motor. There is protective cover over the mixer drum. The cover protects the product from foreign objects entering it and ensures the safety of the operating personnel. Inspection door is also installed in the frame window. All parts in contact with the product are made of food grade stainless steel AISI304.

Principle of operation:

The raw material goes to lower part of mixer drum by outlet nozzle (cross section sizes - 300 x 300 mm). Spiral paddles lift up the product due to drum rotation. The product is mixed and directed towards the outlet nozzle there. The mixing process takes place in a gentle mode due to the low drum speed and the absence of moving parts in the working area.

An aspiration branch pipe is provided for dedusting the mixer during operation. We recommend mixer drive connect by means of a frequency converter for fine-tuning the speed of the mixing drum depending on the types of flakes and the required capacity.
