Centrifugal humidifier ЦУ-1

Purpose of equipment:

Centrifugal humidifier is designed for humidifying the grain at the mills and groats mills.

Design and operation:

The flow of grain is evenly distributed in the chamber with the use of telescopic pipe and a diverting cone. Fast-rotating plate is also installed in the chamber, thinly spraying water directly onto a moving flow of grain.

Centrifugal humidifier ЦУ-1 consists of three parts: upper, middle and lower bodies.

There is cylindrical valve with two handles in the upper body. This valve has the ability to move vertically. Therefore, thin adjusting of the flow has place due to construction. It needed for uniform distribution over the entire gap.

There is electric motor in the middle body. It installed in special airtight container. The motor rotates the spray device. There is inlet connection (nipple) in side surface of middle body. It needed for water connection (or other fluid). And, there is cable input for electric motor connection. The water moves into roll of spray device and spreads around. Due to the device vibration, the water sprayed as a fog. Fog completely fills the internal volume of the machine. The grain, in contact with the fog, is evenly moistened. The lower body needed for product outlet.

The necessary fluid flow rate is selected using a ball valve for adjusting of humidification level. For more correct control of humidification the customer should install the rotameter.

Note: The basic version of the Centrifugal humidifier has input and output nozzles with flanges.
