Investing in equipment modernisation is an investment in the future. Farmers who follow current trends and modernise their production facilities are more likely to achieve long-term success. Moreover, when it comes to processing equipment for agricultural produce – cereals, pulses and niche crops. Now is the time not to put production on hold, but rather to upgrade it.
The growing popularity of lentils. According to updated statistics, the International Grains Council (IGC) estimates that global lentil production rose to 8.3 million tonnes in the 2024/25 marketing year. In the 2025/26 marketing year, the harvest is going to rise to 8.5 million tonnes. The increase in production is driven by demand, whilst the expansion in offer could lead to a potential rise in processing and stocks.
Why lentils, specifically? This crop is a nutritious and universal product with a number of benefits: it is rich in protein and fibre, and consequently boosts the metabolism, helps to reduce the deficiency of plant-based protein, strengthens the immune system, helps with weight control, and is generally beneficial for health and the cardiovascular system.

The Ukrainian company ”AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD”, which successfully develops and introduces new technologies and supplies new grain storage and processing equipment, continues to accept orders for “turnkey” equipment.
