The continuous motion machine is designed for shredding dry pressed (briquetted) coarse-grained plant raw materials (meal, cake) included in compound feedstuff into smaller fractions, as well as other lumpy raw materials, including mineral raw materials.
Cracking mill ПКС-2 (hereinafter grinder) is designed for crushing dry pressed (briquetted) coarse-grained plant raw materials (meal, oilcake) included in mixed fodder into smaller fractions, as well as other lumpy raw materials, including mineral ones.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the design of the equipment, not impairing its performance and technical characteristics as well as those that do not affect industrial safety.

*Structural and mechanical characteristics of products influence to the efficiency of grinding exactly on the productivity. When the moisture of product increases the production of the machine decreases. So the increasing the product moisture till 20% cases the decreasing of capacity for 30%.

Grinder is a metal structure consisting of (Pic. 2): side walls 1 and 2, links 3 and 4, a leading rotor assembly 5, a driven rotor assembly 6, bearing housings 7, sieve decks 8, a leading gear wheel 11, a driven wheel gear 12, frame 13, blocks of contraction 14, drive 15, belt drive 16, gear case 17, belt guard 18, loading hopper 19.
The leading and follower shafts are the special design in the form of alternately fitted knives and spacer washers, which are the working bodies of the grinder. Product ejection is limited by sheath blocks along the rotors. To ensure the required hardness and wear resistance, the edges of the knives and contractions are thermally hardened.
The torque from the electric motor is transmitted to the drive shaft through the V-belt transmission. The drive and driven shafts of the grinder are rigidly connected by gearing.
Grinding of the product takes place between the knives on the shafts during their oncoming movement at different peripheral speeds, as well as between the knives and countercuts.
Check and ensure the presence of grease in the crankcase and bearings of the chopper prior to use. Before installing the grinder, inspect it visually for visible damage, foreign objects.
Install the grinder on a specially prepared foundation using anchors. Install vibration dampers, if necessary. Connect inlet and outlet pipes, gravity. Install a gate or control valve before entering the grinder. Install electrical and control equipment. Check that the direction of rotation of the electric motor corresponds to that indicated on the guard by short-term power-up.
To switch on grinder. Make sure that there is no third-party noise, knocking, highly increased vibration. If any inconsistencies are found, turn off the grinder, troubleshoot. If there are no malfunctions, turn on the chopper in idle mode and run it in for 1 hour. After running-in is completed, the grinder can be put into operation.
To do this, turn on the power supply and ensure that the product is supplied to the inlet.
Attention! Loading the product into the grinder is allowed only if there is a manufacturer's loading hopper in order to prevent any foreign objects or operator's hands from entering the working area.
Before stopping the grinder, stop feeding the product, end the grinding process and turn off the power.
