Horizontal Mixer consists of body, rotor, driver, discharging auger, electric (pneumatic) or manual discharging valve.
The body is steel welded semi-cylindrical construction. There is covered window in the side walls of body. This window is designed for repair works and visual control. Plug-in construction lets make dismantling the rotor through the removable side wall.
Rotor is roller with 4 paddle-spirals (two inside and two outside). Rotor roller is supported by bearings which are at rear walls of mixer body. Drive provides necessary frequency of rotor rotation due to belt drive and reducer. Discharging groove auger is design for getting out of mixture. Unloading of feedstuff mixture is carried out through window at the bottom of the body. This window closed by valve during mix process. The valve is a sheet at specific angles. Valve work is carried out by electric, pneumatic or manual drive. Flap opening value is controlled by switch.
The principle of operation is that the fillers entering the mixing hopper accumulate until the batch / level is reached. Then the dosed components are loaded in manual mode. Short loading time prevents delamination of components. When the rotor rotates, the components are subjected to intense counter-mixing by the paddle-spirals in the mixer body. After the mixing time has finished, the discharging hatch opens and the resulting mixture is sent to the place of unloading from the body by outer round of screw (auger). Then the product get out the mixer due to screw. Unloading control is carried out by manual mode but it does by using PC.
