The flaking mill is designed to flatten cereals and hulled grains while manufacturing oatmeal, buckwheat, pearl barley, finely ground barley, corn, wheat, rice and other flakes. In 2007 fourth-generation upgraded flaking mill was produced after previous machines (ПС-1, ПС-2, ПС-600). In this version we decided such problems as reduction of metal volume, reduction in size and noise reduction from operating equipment.
There are upgraded rollers (600х750) on the Flaking mill. These rollers are from wear-resistant material. Roller structure changed. It got tougher and hard. It helps to reduce the deflection of the rollers in the middle of the working area.
Rollers have wear-resistant area. Therefore it makes surface to be renewed and hard without compromising performance.
In addition, the process of heat removal from the working rollers surface and cooling of the roller as a whole has been improved. Bearings are on the tapered flange of roller. It helps hydraulic take-off to work and improves the process of disassembling and assembling the machine during overhauls.
There is new system of working gap control in this model. In addition to pre-setting (factory setting), the operator has an opportunity to configure the working gap during the operation of the machine, taking into account the requirements of the technological process and the characteristics of the processed raw materials. Minimum gap between flatting rollers is 0,1 mm.
The machine is driven by two electric motors.
Automatic control panel with microprocessor helps to control rotations of the rollers and equipment start-up.
