AgroFoodSummit international conference, taking place on 24–25 September 2026 in Mersin, Turkey, brought together over 300 representatives from the agribusiness sector, producers, traders, processors and analysts. Experts from more than 30 countries around the world (Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and the Black Sea region) discussed current trends and prospects for the 2026/27 season in the markets for cereals, pulses, soya, oilseeds and processed products.
The deep processing of cereals, pulses and niche crops was a key theme of the conference, because current developments are changing the market structure towards finished products with added value.

In the framework of the conference, in particular, the company ‘AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD’ organised a round-table discussion on the specifics of processing pulses and niche crops, as well as a series of negotiations with agricultural holding companies – potential customers for equipment from Kazakhstan, India, Pakistan and Turkey. Extended negotiations not only on the processing of raw materials from niche crops into value-added products, but also on the complete organisation and delivery of ‘turnkey’ buckwheat mills.
The discussion on the processing of cereals, pulses and niche crops into value-added products turned out to be a truly significant aspect of the summit, as processing has evidently become an indicator of the agricultural sector’s level of progress.
