Processes of manufacturing and testing steamers brand ПЗ

At present, the production site of SIC AGRO-SIMO-MASHBUD produces a batch of steamers ПЗ-3 intended for hydrothermal processing of grain of grain of cereal crops in order to improve the technological properties of the grain and increase the consumer properties of the finished product.

The manufacture of all steamers of the ПЗ model is necessarily accompanied by their testing. Tests are carried out to control the quality of welds after welding of flanges, nozzles, bosses with a lid and a steamer body.

Tests are carried out in three stages:

The first stage is ultrasonic testing of welds for the presence of hidden and internal defects of an unacceptable size.

The second stage is the conduction of contrast and luminescent flaw detection with the help of penetrant to detect cracks. In these tests used 3 types of penetrants:

red (indicator), which eats into cracks;
green (cleaner), which washes away the red color in the place of the alleged defect;
white (developer), which reveals a crack pattern, if any.

The third stage is hydraulic testing. Conducted under water at a pressure of 8.6 atmospheres (0.86 MPa), lasting 20-30 minutes.

After each test phase, in the event of defects, work is carried out to correct them. But quality control showed full compliance with functional parameters and safety requirements. Only after the whole complex of tests has been carried out is the painting of steamers.
