Hammer mill ДМП

Hammer mill is designed for grinding grain, husk, legumes, corn, grain mixtures, meal, small-size oilcake and other types of raw materials, except mineral. They are installed at the feedstuff plants.

Purpose:

Hammer mill (ДМП-7,5, ДМП-11, ДМП-15, ДМП-18, ДМП-22, ДМП-30) are designed for grinding grain, husk, legumes, corn, grain mixtures, meal, small-size oilcake and other types of raw materials (except mineral) at the feedstuff plants.

*Efficiency of grinding depends on structurally mechanical properties of the grain. If we apply the specific energy consumption for grinding oats for 100 %, then 80 % is enough for grinding barley. 57% is enough for grinding corn. Increasing product moisture reduces the performance of the Hammer mill. With an increase in humidity up to 20 %, productivity decreases by 30 %. Productivity of grinding also depends on way transport length of product.

Design and principle of operation:

The body of the Mill is welded and has fan shape on the base. Drive unit of the Mill is serial clutch engine (N = 11 or 7,5 kWt, n = 3 000 RPM). The cover is made in the form of a disc with rubber seals around the perimeter. It provides sealing of the grinding chamber. The cover has destoner. The destoner works by gravity laws. Inlet and outlets nozzles are located at different heights. It dosn't let heavyweight parts go to the grinding chamber. The cover is on the rods (which are on the body) and cuddled by flywheel.

Sieve body is welded construction. It designed for installation and mounting of the sieves and decks. Hummer rotor is the basic part of the Hummer mill. Hummer rotor is made in the form of an impeller with axis for hummers. The rotor is on the roller of electric engine. The washers are on the axis. The washers are designed to limit the movement of hammers along the axes of their suspension. The throwing impeller is fan rotor on the roller. It is designed to throw grinded product from the Hummer mill to the cyclone. If you need the raw loading from the floor storage, the Hummer mill is completed with direct nozzle. If you need the loading it from the bags, the loading will carry out by feed hopper. The feeders are connected with Hummer mill due to corrugated hose (Ø 80 mm).

System of pneumatic transport is designed for transportation of the raw grain to the Hummer mill. System of pneumatic transport also help to move grinded raw into the cyclone-discharger. Product pipe should be mounted taking into account the tightness conditions (to avoid suction at the product inlet and dusting at the unloading area). Possible pneumatic conveying options are steel pipe (Ø 120 mm) or corrugated hose (Ø 100 mm).

The cyclone-discharger is designed to cancel speed of grinded product and its sediment in the storage hopper. It also helps to cancel excessive pressure in the system of pneumatic transport. Filter bloc is designed to separate dust impurities. The grain leaves pneumatic feeder for destoner chamber due to pneumatic transport. Large heavy and metallic impurities remain in the chamber, and the grain is sucked into the crushing chamber. Then the grain is grinded by the hummers and goes through the sieve. Afterwards it get out by impeller through product pipe to the cyclone.
