The washer is designed for grain hydroseparation and washing at groats and flour mills. When wetting is carried out, physiobiological processes take place in the grain, and as a result, it becomes easier to separate the husk from the grain with minimal losses of the grain endosperm.
Washer КВД-1 designed to clean of grain surface from the impurities different in dimensions and aerodynamic properties. Application area is groats mills at agricultural enterprises and farms.

Washer consists of washing tub (1), alloy chambers (2 and 3), pressing column (4). This machine has water distribution comb (collector with control valves):
The Washer looks like body with horizontal augers (5) for grain transportation to the pressing column. These augers are in the upper part of the body. In the lower part, there are horizontal augers (6) for transportation of heavy mineral and metal impurities to the water-destoner (7). The drive (8) makes augers rotate. The nozzles (9 and 10) help to supply the water to washing tub.
For a stable supply of water to the washer and ensuring passport operation parameters, it is imperative to provide for the installation of a pump. This pump is allow to control the water consumption depending on the required washing capacity from 1 to 6 t/h. 2.5 atm is minimum pressure of pump at any water consumption.
